When Hanoi is in the most beautiful season of the year, it’s time for street vendors to park their flower bicycles on the roadside of Phan Dinh Phung, Thuy Khue and Yen Phu streets.
Phan Dinh Phung and Thuy Khue roads have become “tourist attractions”, where people come to take photos with street vendors’ flower bikes.
This is a good time for flower vendors as their sales rocket. There are many kinds of flowers such as lotus, chrysanthemum and sunflower.
Each bouquet costs VND 30,000-150,000 (over US$1-6).
People buy flowers as props to take good pictures.
Taking photos on the street in the autumn sunlight has become a trend among young people in Hanoi.
Autumn is the time that the capital city has the typical beauty that cannot be found anywhere else. The weather is cooler; the scenery is more beautiful with lines of trees with changing leaves alongside magnificent ancient architecture dated back to the French colonial era.
Over the past eight months, 12.38 million people have visited Hanoi, more than a four-fold increase from last year. The number of international guests was 582,000, and income from tourism reached US$1.5 billion, more than 4 times up from last year.
