Starting March 8, Bac Ninh province is offering two free tourism tours to highlight its historical sites, traditional craft villages, and cultural heritage landmarks.

The initiative aims to enhance local tourism, promote cultural pride, and attract both domestic and international visitors.

According to the Bac Ninh Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, these tours are part of the province’s pilot tourism program for 2025.

Tour details:

Tour 1: Bac Ninh Museum – But Thap Pagoda – Dau Pagoda – Dong Ho Painting Village – Do Temple – Hoang Gia Nam Hong Museum – Bac Ninh Museum

Tour 2: Bac Ninh Museum – Phat Tich Pagoda – Kinh Duong Vuong Mausoleum – Phu Lang Pottery Village – Nguyen Cao Temple – Dien Quang Pagoda – Bac Ninh Museum

The tours will run every Saturday and Sunday from March 8 to June 2025.

The free tours are part of the "Journey to Discover Bac Ninh Heritage" program.

Departure time: 8:00 AM

Return time: 5:30 PM

Starting location: Bac Ninh Museum (2 Ly Thai To Street, Suoi Hoa Ward, Bac Ninh City)

Transportation: High-quality 45-seat buses, with two buses per tour per day

Funding: Covered by Bac Ninh’s 2025 provincial budget

The Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism stated that these tours will allow residents and visitors to experience Bac Ninh’s cultural treasures firsthand, from historical sites to traditional craft villages.

Additionally, the tours aim to boost local tourism, attract investment, and increase visitor numbers. The province will also evaluate and improve service quality, ensuring a safe, friendly, and high-quality tourism experience for all visitors.

Furthermore, authorities are encouraging local communities to actively participate in maintaining security, preserving the environment, and promoting Bac Ninh as a top-tier travel destination.
