The Ministry of Transport has submitted to the Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc a plan to build seven more expressways nationwide by 2030.

The Cuu Long Corporation for Investment Development and Project Management of Infrastructure (CIPM) has asked the Ministry of Transport to be responsible for the Ha Tien-Rach Gia-Bac Lieu expressway project.

Nearly VND7 trillion (US$300.8 million) will be invested on building two international container terminals in the northern city of Hai Phong’s Lach Huyen Port next year.

A temporary bridge costing VND4.5 billion (US$193,500) will be built along a section of the Noi Bai – Lao Cai Expressway in the northern mountainous province of Yen Bai following a bridge collapse.
