The church courtyard was among the earliest to be decorated this year, featuring artistic lighting and nativity scenes depicting stories from the Bible.

A giant Christmas tree, around 25 meters tall and adorned with layers of glowing bulbs, stands out as the focal point of the festive area. According to church representatives, the early decorations this year are in honor of 2025 being designated a Holy Year by the Universal Catholic Church.

The Binh Thai Church in Binh Dong Ward is also a standout along Pham The Hien Street thanks to its eye-catching light displays.

Giuse Le Hai Son, Chairman of the Binh Thai Parish Pastoral Council, said the church's Christmas grotto serves not only as a religious symbol but also as a cultural celebration. “It welcomes everyone - regardless of faith - and helps foster a joyful, warm atmosphere in the neighborhood,” he shared.

Drawing on experience and materials from previous years, the parish completed this year’s decoration with ease and efficiency. The total budget was around 100 million VND (approximately 4,100 USD). Lights are switched on after the evening Mass, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (December 24–25), the lights will remain on all night for the enjoyment of locals and tourists.
