According to information published on Vietnam’s National Business Registration Portal, the new legal entity is registered as Tesla Motors Vietnam Company Limited, with the abbreviated name Tesla Motors Vietnam.

The company has charter capital of VND77.667 billion ($2.9 million).

Three people are registered as its legal representatives: David Jon Feinstein, Isabel Ching Fan and Nguyen Manh Hung.

Its headquarters is registered in Sai Gon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

Tesla Motors Vietnam’s primary registered business is the wholesale of automobiles and other motor vehicles. The company has also registered the right to export, import and distribute goods on a wholesale basis in accordance with Vietnamese law and the country’s international commitments.

It has additionally registered for the wholesale and retail sale of automobiles, auto parts and accessories.

Other registered business activities include the wholesale of machinery, equipment and machine parts, other specialized wholesale activities, general wholesale and general retail.

Its distribution, import-export and retail activities are registered to operate in accordance with Vietnamese law and international treaties to which Vietnam is a party.

Tesla vehicles have been present in Vietnam for years, but have mainly entered the country through private imports.

Models including the Model S, Model X, Model 3 and Model Y have appeared on the Vietnamese market in limited numbers, while Tesla has yet to establish official distribution operations in the country.
