Update news CPI
Vietnam’s consumer price index (CPI) in February rose 1.14% from the previous month as prices increased in most major groups of goods and services, the National Statistics Office (NSO) under the Ministry of Finance announced on March 6.
The NSO reported that December's CPI climbed 0.19% from November and 3.48% from a year earlier. Fourth-quarter average CPI went up 3.44% year-on-year.
Vietnam’s consumer price index (CPI) rose 3.27% year-on-year in the first ten months of 2025, while core inflation increased 3.2%, the National Statistics Office (NSO) under the Ministry of Finance reported on November 6.
September’s CPI climbed 2.61% from December 2024 and 3.38% from a year earlier. The third-quarter average CPI rose by 3.27% year-on-year, lifting the nine-month average inflation rate to 3.27%.
The National Statistics Office under the Ministry of Finance announced that the consumer price index (CPI) last month rose 0.05% month-on-month and increased 3.24% year-on-year.
While CPI averaged 3.26%, core inflation stayed at 3.18% due to excluded sectors.
Housing material costs and global fuel prices drive June’s 3.57% inflation increase.
In April, prices rose in eight out of 11 groups of main consumer goods and services, two groups saw price declines, and one remained unchanged.
