On the afternoon of October 27, reporters from VietNamNet observed severe flooding in Truong Dinh and Quan Nam 6 (Hoa Lien Commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang), with over 100 homes inundated by floodwaters from Typhoon Trami.

These villages are located along the Cu De River, which overflowed, flooding nearby residential areas. According to locals, water levels began to rise around noon, reaching almost one meter in some homes. By 3 p.m., as the rain eased, the floodwaters receded, leaving behind thick mud that residents rushed to clean up.

Tuong Thi De, a resident of Truong Dinh, shared that just 20 minutes after the storm struck, water levels surged, rising over a meter. Roughly three hours later, the water began to recede.

Le Duc Thuong, Chairman of the Hoa Lien Commune People's Committee, noted that the commune is currently assessing the initial damage caused by Typhoon Trami in the area.

On the afternoon of October 27, Da Nang's Disaster Prevention and Rescue Command Center issued a preliminary report on the response to Typhoon Trami and the initial damage.

The report noted that Typhoon Trami had flooded 51 homes in Hoa Bac Commune (Hoa Vang District). As of 5 p.m., water levels had receded. Additionally, the storm caused roof damage to 62 homes in Da Nang, with 53 partially damaged and 9 completely unroofed. Agricultural damage included one sunken boat and 12 hectares of crop loss. Citywide, 909 trees were reported uprooted.
