Early on January 29 (the first day of the Lunar New Year), Da Nang’s Department of Tourism hosted a welcoming ceremony at Tien Sa Port for 800 American tourists arriving aboard the luxury cruise ship Crystal Symphony.
As they disembarked, visitors were greeted with a traditional lion dance performance and gifted local souvenirs.

Visiting Da Nang during the festive season, Emma Venus expressed her excitement upon receiving a Vietnamese conical hat.
"My friends have told me how hospitable and friendly Vietnamese people are, and that the tourist attractions here are stunning. I plan to explore as many places as possible during my stay," she shared.
The Crystal Symphony set sail from Singapore on January 18, making stops in Thailand and Cambodia before reaching Vietnam. In Da Nang, passengers will visit popular destinations such as Linh Ung Pagoda, the Cham Sculpture Museum, and My Khe Beach.

At 9 AM the same day, Da Nang International Airport also welcomed its first visitors of the Lunar New Year.
Excited tourists arriving at the airport were presented with specialty gifts representing the flavors of Da Nang.
The "Spring Fortune" program also awarded visitors vouchers for free entry to the city’s top attractions.

According to statistics, Da Nang International Airport handled over 140 domestic and international flights on the first day of the Lunar New Year, with an estimated 20,000 tourists arriving in the city.
During the entire Lunar New Year holiday, Da Nang is expected to welcome more than 456,000 visitors, a 13.5% increase compared to last year. This includes approximately 221,000 international tourists and 235,000 domestic visitors.
