Located in Truc Bach, an expat area in Hanoi, Dao Ngoc-Ngu Xa is home to many cafes and eateries, where visitors are treated to grilled dishes, including the unique specialty invented right there - pho rolls.
The committee said local products under the “One Commune-One Product” Programmes will be introduced at the hub in the time ahead, along with culture and art activities at the weekend.
Notably, to celebrate the 78th anniversary of August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2), there was an exhibition displaying artworks made from steel scrap by architect Duong Nguyen Huy.
Chairman of the committee Ta Nam Chien said the locality will continue to select photos and artworks by some photographers, architects and sculptors for display in the site in the time ahead as part of activities to celebrate the city’s Liberation Day (October 10).
Nguyen Dan Huy, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Truc Bach ward, said the ward has coordinated with competent agencies in the district to organise culture and art activities, while paying attention to ensuring environmental hygiene, security and safety for the street./.VNA
