Visitors must bring either a chip-embedded ID card or a phone with VNeID level 2 activated to scan the QR code for entry at the National Funeral Hall, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi.

The memorial service for the General Secretary will be held at the National Funeral Hall, 5 Tran Thanh Tong Street, Hanoi, from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM on July 25 and from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM on July 26.

The memorial ceremony will be held at the National Funeral Hall, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi, from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM on July 25, and from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM on July 26.

The funeral will take place at 1:00 PM on July 26 at the National Funeral Hall, followed by the burial at 3:00 PM on the same day at Mai Dich Cemetery, Hanoi.

On July 25 and 26, the public can pay their respects during designated times. The memorial will also be held simultaneously at the Reunification Hall in Ho Chi Minh City and at the General Secretary’s hometown in Dong Hoi Commune, Dong Anh District, Hanoi.

Vietnam Television (VTV) and Voice of Vietnam (VOV) will provide live coverage of the memorial, funeral, and burial ceremonies in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

During the national mourning days (July 25 and 26, 2024), all government offices, public spaces, and institutions are required to display mourning flags and refrain from public entertainment activities.

The Dong Anh District People's Committee has announced the organization of the memorial and funeral ceremonies at the Lai Da Village Cultural Center in Dong Hoi Commune, Dong Anh District, Hanoi.

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has issued a press release about the memorial and funeral at the Reunification Hall.

Accordingly, delegation leaders are assigned for each group, and the public will be arranged by the organizing committee. Attendees should dress in formal, dark clothing appropriate for national mourning. Students, workers, and officials should wear their respective uniforms.

Visitors are not permitted to bring flowers, fruits, or incense. Individuals should carry their ID cards (or personal identification) but not handbags. A black ribbon (80cm x 15cm, white text) with the unit's name must be worn on the floral wreaths provided by the organizing committee.
