Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong chaired a meeting of the Party Central Committee’s Politburo and Secretariat in Hanoi on May 8 to consider imposing disciplinary measures on several former officials of Lao Cai.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang has signed a decision to impose a disciplinary measure of warning on Mai Tien Dung.
Civil servants and public employees, who have received a warning or are under disciplinary action, have been called on to resign as one of the ways to carry out the downsizing policy.
