Visitors traveling on National Highway 7 passing through Tuong Duong district will see the verdant sang le forest.

The sang le forest in Tuong Duong is considered the most beautiful forest of its kind in Indochina. The forest covers more than 70 hectares, with many ancient sang le trees tens of meters high. There are huge trees with such wide trunks that two people can hug them. 

In 2014, the People's Committee of Nghe An province placed Tam Dinh sang le forest on the list of strictly protected forests.

In Tuong Duong district, tourists can discover other destinations such as streams in Tam Quang, Tam Hop, waterfalls in Nhon Mai, Ban Ve reservoir, Khe Bo lake, and Van - Cua Rao temple.

A 300-year-old tree with a circumference of nearly 7m and a height of nearly 40m. This is among the largest trees in the forest.
