Travel website My Late Deals has revealed its Street Food City Index, with Ho Chi Minh City being ranked third in the list.
According to the travel website, Ho Chi Minh City came in third place thanks to its range of cheap dishes that have an average cost of just £1.77 per dish. The southern metropolis also has high a quantity of street food vendors.
Some of the most popular foods found in the city include pho, banh mi, known as a Vietnamese baguette in Western countries, and goi cuon, a type of fresh spring roll.
The index ranks cities based on four factors: number of vendors; affordability; number of street food experiences or tours; and sanitation./. VNA
