Vietnam considers electricity price cuts, zero petrol excise tax from November

Vietnam is considering lowering retail electricity prices and cutting the special consumption tax on petrol to zero from November 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, to ease costs for households and businesses and support social welfare.
