
Minister Dao Ngoc Dung chairs the leadership meeting to nominate Hoang Van Tuyen.
Delegates at the meeting unanimously agreed on Tuyen’s candidacy, praising his clear personal background, firm ideological stance, and strong political integrity. They highlighted his honesty, humility, democratic and fair leadership style, and commitment to team unity. Tuyen was also recognized for his respectful and collaborative approach with central and local authorities.
As an ethnic Nung official with a solid educational background, Tuyen has demonstrated professional competence and steady advancement throughout his public service career. His nomination, the delegates affirmed, meets all regulatory and qualification standards for full-time deputies at the central level.
Earlier, on January 15, the Ministry had conducted a vote of confidence among Tuyen’s colleagues, with 100% support for his nomination to the 16th National Assembly.
Born on March 16, 1975, in Tan Doan commune, Lang Son province, Tuyen holds degrees in Crop Science (engineering), Public Administration (master’s), and advanced political theory.
His career includes multiple leadership roles:
– Deputy Director of the Ethnic Policy Department, Committee for Ethnic Affairs (Oct. 2016 – Mar. 2021)
– Director of the Ethnic Policy Department, Committee for Ethnic Affairs (Mar. 2021 – Feb. 2025), concurrently serving as Party Cell Secretary and member of the Committee Party Executive Board
– Director of the Policy Department, Ministry of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, since March 2025
