Police in Ninh Binh, Can Tho and Da Nang have dismantled several large-scale gambling and football betting networks with total transactions estimated at nearly VND2 trillion (about US$75 million).

Police in Hung Yen Province have charged 23 suspects linked to a large-scale illegal football streaming and online betting network, seizing more than VND10 billion ($385,000) along with numerous high-tech devices.

A sophisticated online gambling operation with a turnover of 800 billion VND has been taken down, leading to multiple arrests.
