Late on March 1, the Criminal Police Division, in coordination with other professional units under the provincial police, conducted an inspection of the GDC Lucky Club in the hotel basement on Tran Phu Street, Nha Trang Ward.

When officers entered the premises, they discovered 13 foreign nationals gambling illegally by playing poker. Authorities seized US$3,500 along with documents related to the case.

According to the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police, the club is operated by a woman identified as W.M.H., 30, residing in Ho Chi Minh City, who serves as the club’s operations director.

In initial statements to investigators, H. said the GDC Lucky Club operates 24 hours a day, allowing players to exchange cash for Cashin Ticker cards or deposit US dollars directly into gaming machines. The club collects a percentage commission based on the total amount wagered by players.

Relevant units of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police are continuing to consolidate evidence and handle the case in accordance with the law.

The Criminal Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security has dismantled an online gambling and gambling organization ring involving transactions worth VND900 billion (approximately US$36 million), allegedly led by Nguyen Viet Duy.
