The repairs of murals began in December 12 with the participation of two painters and three workers. The work was completed within nearly three weeks.

Phung Hung street will be the venue for a Tet flower market, which will open next week.

The street is more than 200m long, displaying 17 works of old Hanoi.

This mural street has become a famous tourist spot in Hanoi. Every weekend or holiday, the street attracts hundreds of visitors.

Phung Hung mural street opened in 2018. This project was jointly implemented by Hoan Kiem district authorities, the Korea Foundation and the UN-Habitat to bring public art to life and to promote the value of urban heritage of Hanoi's Old Quarter.
