Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa (craft club chairman Phu Do vermicelli) said, since the village has made proposals to apply for rebuilding treatment plant clarifier and support construction for individual households, it has not yet ratified. Everything on paper is expected by 2020.

Currently, the village of Phu Do vermicelli production averages 50 tons of noodles / day, providing nearly half of the total market in Hanoi.

According to the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology, wastewater samples collected from the village contains high concentration of BOD, organic matter, nitrogen, and phosphorus, causing serious water pollution.
