Ms. Luyen (a cleaner for Saigon Waterbus) said that she had just finished the last working day of the year. "I finished my shift after the fireworks show. Today there were too many people come to the riverside to watch the fireworks, so I worked very hard. After finishing work, I called my husband to come to pick me up, but more than 1 hour has passed but he could not come here because of the traffic jam," Ms. Luyen said

Ms. Linh and her children sat on the sidewalk of Hai Ba Trung to wait for her husband to take them home. "I live in District 12. I don't come back to my hometown because it's too close to the Lunar New Year. Today I took my children to the street see the beautiful fireworks. It is difficult to return home because the roads are congested," Linh said.
