Announced on April 21, the Huawei Store mirrors similar platforms previously introduced by Apple and Samsung, marking a step forward in the company’s direct-to-consumer strategy.
The platform features products that have already been launched in the Vietnamese market, such as the Mate X7 smartphone, Huawei Watch GT6 Pro, MatePad tablets, and audio devices like FreeBuds and Free Clip.
Prices on the online store remain consistent with those announced at launch. However, some items are currently discounted by around VND500,000 (US$20), with free shipping also available.
In Vietnam, Huawei has risen to a leading position in the wearable segment. Devices such as Huawei Band and smartwatches designed to track health metrics and fitness activities continue to expand in variety and introduce new features.
However, the company still faces challenges in the smartphone and tablet markets, largely due to its inability to use Google’s Android operating system.
The Mate X7, reintroduced to Vietnam earlier in 2026, has primarily attracted loyal brand followers, according to retail observations.
Its price, nearing VND55 million (US$2,250), remains a significant barrier for many potential buyers.
Similarly, while Huawei’s tablets are well-suited for productivity needs, their lack of Android compatibility and relatively high prices continue to limit broader adoption among users.
