The purpose of the move is to offer new experience products in a bid to attract tourists visiting the Complex of Hue Monuments, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.
With the VR virtual reality system, visitors will be able to experience the recognition of virtual objects at specific locations during the course of their tour of Hue Citadel through both glasses and sound.
Hoang Viet Trung, director of Hue Monuments Conservation Center, said that the launch of the e-ticket system will provide both visitors and residents with a convenient experience by enabling them to purchase sightseeing tickets via cashless payment methods, while simultaneously improving the quality of customer service.
He noted that the analysis of data from the e-ticket system will provide the basis to help technology anticipate future trends in the tourism market in the future, improve the overall efficiency of management of Hue Monuments Conservation Center, and promote digital transformation in local tourism.
