The picturesque setting of the Huong Pagoda complex gives visitors the feeling of being lost in a fairyland.
Despite the cold weather, thousands of people flocked to the Huong (Perfume) Pagoda Festival in Huong Son commune, Hanoi’s outlying district of My Duc on the opening day to celebrate the new year.
The notice of temporary suspension of the festival and banning visitors at Huong Son relic (Perfume Pagoda) was issued by My Duc district in Hanoi on January 25.
As the Covid-19 pandemic has been controlled well in Hanoi, the Huong (Perfume) Pagoda opened to the public on March 13.
Around 40,000 visitors made the pilgrimage to Huong Pagoda in Hanoi’s My Duc district on January 30, the sixth day of the Lunar New Year, to attend the opening of the longest running festival in the country.
