The province will invite talented chefs from Japan, Australia, and Ho Chi Minh City to prepare various tuna dishes for visitors. Binh Dinh's oceanic tuna will be filleted and prepared into creative, nutritious, and unique dishes, offering 1,500 free servings throughout the festival.

According to the organizers, many top chefs worldwide will showcase their skills at the event. For instance, Chef Kim Bernard Chilcott, Culinary Director of the AL Frescos Group, will create a spicy coconut tuna salad; Chef Ly Kim Long, one of the top 100 chefs in the world in 2023 and a WorldChefs judge, will prepare tuna curry with Tam Quan coconut from Binh Dinh; and Matsuo Tomoyuki, President of the Vietnam-Japan Culinary Culture Association, will present the famous Japanese dish Matsuri Tekka (tuna sushi).

Notably, on the opening day of the fair, giant tuna pancakes will be prepared by artisans and chefs from Ho Chi Minh City to serve visitors.

The festival will also feature a culinary fair showcasing delicious seafood dishes and nearly 100 booths displaying OCOP (one commune one product) products from various localities and craft villages. Participants include 10 restaurants from inside and outside the province, 21 OCOP businesses and craft villages from Binh Dinh, and 19 OCOP units from nine provinces, such as Soc Trang, Tra Vinh, Tay Ninh, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Da Nang, Ha Tinh, Lao Cai, and Thai Nguyen.

A highlight of the event will be the light festival themed "Quy Nhon - Shining Lighthouse," held for the first time in Binh Dinh on the evening of July 14 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square in Quy Nhon City. This is one of the most anticipated events for young people.

Additionally, the festival will include a street festival themed "Binh Dinh Welcomes Summer" and a series of traditional art performances, such as hát bội, bài chòi, and Binh Dinh traditional martial arts. Shows featuring famous singers and talented circus artists promise to offer exciting experiences for locals and visitors.

Binh Dinh’s Deputy Chairman Nguyen Tuan Thanh hopes the festival will spread the beautiful image of Binh Dinh's land and people, contributing to promoting and elevating Binh Dinh's tourism profile to domestic and international visitors.

Moreover, through the festival, the image and brand of Binh Dinh oceanic tuna will be promoted, reaching domestic and export consumers, contributing to the development of exploitation, processing, and trade promotion of Binh Dinh oceanic tuna.
