The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will not go on sale in Vietnam until Sept. 18, but the country’s tech accessory market is already buzzing.

In recent days, several international brands have moved quickly to bring ecosystems of cases, tempered-glass protectors and fast-charging devices to Vietnam ahead of the new iPhones’ arrival.

Screen and camera protection products are among the most diverse offerings.

Singaporean accessory brand Uniq, for example, has launched a dedicated lineup for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, including screen protectors, aluminum-framed camera lens protectors and nine different case ranges.

Its premium screen protector uses NanoCeram glass-ceramic technology and has been tested to withstand the impact of a 250-gram metal ball dropped from a height of two meters.

Other options include privacy glass designed to prevent people nearby from viewing the screen, as well as protectors that filter up to 85% of blue light in the 400-450nm range to reduce exposure to the eyes.

The company’s aluminum-framed camera lens protector is just 0.25mm thick and offers 98.5% light transmission, designed to preserve image and video clarity.

Uniq’s cases include models certified to the US military MIL-STD 810H-516.8 standard, with drop protection from heights of up to four meters, as well as more premium-looking options made from Verda vegan leather.

Most also incorporate HapticCore technology for the camera control button and a MagClick magnetic system compatible with MagSafe.

There are trade-offs, however. Uniq’s thicker shock-resistant cases can add noticeable bulk and weight, particularly to the iPhone Pro Max. Their premium pricing may also put them beyond the reach of more budget-conscious consumers.

Another Singaporean brand, Skinarma, is taking a different approach, targeting younger buyers with cases influenced by technology, fashion and street culture.

Its products feature 360-degree protection and are designed to withstand drops from between 2.4 and three meters.

The Avion and Atlas lines also incorporate the company’s DRIFT-NODE Air Corner Protection system, using air-cushioned corners to absorb impact without adding significant weight.

The cases feature a 360-degree rotating aluminum stand and support Camera Control and Mag-Charge, while also offering attachment points for personalized straps.

Skinarma’s bold aesthetic, however, may not appeal to consumers who prefer minimalist or understated designs, particularly in more formal office environments. Their surfaces and prominent graphics may also show fingerprints or scratches after extended use.

Charging and connectivity brand Mazer has also introduced an ecosystem of products for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max.

The company is embracing the latest Qi2.2 wireless charging standard, which increases magnetic wireless charging power to 25W from 15W under the original Qi2 standard.

Among its products is the MagAir31 10,000mAh power bank, supporting 25W Qi2.2 wireless charging and 45W USB-C Power Delivery.

The foldable MagFold07 charging station delivers 35W and can charge an iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods simultaneously.

Mazer has also introduced the 60W PrestigeGaN charger, which uses GaN7 semiconductor technology and offers energy conversion efficiency of up to 95%.

Its InfiniteLink Cobra3 charging cable supports up to 240W and incorporates magnets that allow it to coil neatly and reduce tangling.

Mazer’s lineup is more heavily focused on chargers and cables, meaning consumers have fewer fashion-oriented choices than with case brands. Its high-powered, multi-port chargers also tend to carry relatively high retail prices.

Accessories for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are already available at major technology retail chains across Vietnam, including The Gioi Di Dong, FPT Shop, Minh Tuan Mobile, Di Dong Viet and Mai Nguyen.

TLC Trading, an accessory distributor, said orders placed with the company have risen by about 115% from the same period last year, based on early orders and stocking plans from Apple-authorized retail chains for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max launch period.

The increase suggests retailers are optimistic about demand for accessories for Apple’s latest iPhones and are building inventory early to capture spending as soon as the devices officially go on sale.
