The team gave advice on many different issues; however, what they focused on policies to stabilize the macroeconomic stability, administration & business environment renovation and state-owned enterprise reform.
The economy fell into uncertainties, as the national economy gained high growth rates but latent risks existed. The advisory team then gave detailed suggestions on matters relating to macro solutions, finance and the flexible management of monetary policies.
Thanh believes it was the strong determination of the Prime Minister and ministers which helped bring the national economy back.
When asked about future plans, Thanh said the newly elected Prime Minister, to be approved by the National Assembly will set up an advisory team. The team may have both old and new members.
