Vietnamese information technology engineers are as qualified as those in the global market but receive lower salaries, increasing Vietnam’s attractiveness to foreign software enterprises, according to France-based Orchestra Networks, a leading data management software provider.

Pierre Bonnet, chairman and general director at Orchestra Networks Vietnam, stated that Vietnam is appealing to Orchestra Networks not only for its potential market but also for its skilled workforce.

The company’s main function was to pursue research and development (R&D) during its two-year operation in the country. Although the software supplier has established a series of branches in the United States, Great Britain, Germany, Singapore, and other countries, its R&D activities are being conducted only in France and Vietnam, Bonnet remarked.

“Technology engineers working at Orchestra Networks Vietnam have the same skills and qualifications as those in Orchestra Networks France, resulting in the company’s venture into Vietnam to set up a division for R&D,” Bonnet added.

The representative of Orchestra Networks said the company will enhance its commercial operations in the country in the years to come.

Bonnet remarked that Vietnam’s economic growth is on the rise, helping Orchestra Networks sell its data management software as the application of technology and data management and sharing of solutions is urgently needed in developing countries.

Orchestra Networks will hold a seminar called “Data Management: The new challenge beyond Industry 4.0” at the Grand Plaza Hanoi on December 13 to share and discuss experiences and information on efficient methods of data management. The seminar is aimed at supporting enterprises in mapping out a strategic plan for their operations.
