Update news locked iPhone
The 2-year old iPhoneX sells well in the used iPhone market, but brand new products will no longer be distributed officially in Vietnam.
Many iPhones have been locked because of the IMEI number exposure. Apple said the manufacturer will only unlock devices if owners can show invoices from Apple Store or authorized resellers.
iPhone XS Max is being sold at VND25-27 million, a sharp fall of VND3 million from the previous month.
Some private shops have stopped selling iPhone 11 Pro, though the model is considered higher in grade than iPhone 11 and has the same configuration and camera as iPhone 11 Pro Max.
A locked iPhone 11 is now being offered at VND12.6 million for the 64 GB version and an international version at VND18.5 million.
Because of a new policy, locked iPhones from Verizon will be unlocked after 60 days of use if they meet some conditions.
The next-generation gevey sim has been blocked by Apple, while users now have to use previous-generation gevey sim to activate brand-new locked iPhones.
