Long Thanh International Airport has successfully energized its primary power supply system, establishing a critical foundation for stable operations across the airport’s infrastructure and paving the way for planned trial operations.
On June 10, the Long Thanh International Airport Project Management Board, located in Long Thanh Ward, Dong Nai City, announced that it had coordinated with Dong Nai City Power Company to complete the energization and commissioning of the airport’s power supply system in accordance with approved designs.

Specifically, all 22kV transmission lines connected to the 110kV Long Thanh Airport substation were successfully energized, supplying electricity to the airport’s power receiving station (PWR-ACV).
According to the project management board, the power supply system serves as the “backbone” of the airport, ensuring a continuous, stable and safe electricity supply for trial operations as well as future airport activities.
As construction enters a critical phase with a growing workload, a reliable power infrastructure will provide the foundation needed to efficiently implement the remaining project components.
