Vietnamese authorities have apprehended several officials from the Long Thanh District Land Development Centre on allegations of land compensation irregularities associated with the construction of Long Thành International Airport in Dong Nai.

Vietnamese police have detained high-ranking officials from the Long Thanh District Land Development Center for abuse of power and bribery in the airport land compensation scheme. More arrests are expected as investigations continue.
