“CAHN and coach Mano Polking have signed a contract extension, affirming a shared long-term vision through 2028. The trust and alignment between the club’s leadership and the head coach form the foundation for pursuing key goals in the V-League and continental competitions,” the club announced.
Polking was appointed in May 2024, replacing Kiatisuk Senamuang, on an initial two-year deal. Since taking charge, the German-Brazilian tactician has guided CAHN to the 2024/25 National Cup title, the 2025 National Super Cup, and a runner-up finish in the 2024/25 ASEAN Club Championship.
Under his leadership this season, CAHN are closing in on the V-League title. The team currently tops the table with 48 points, holding a seven-point advantage over second-placed The Cong Viettel, with seven rounds remaining.
If they maintain their current form, CAHN could secure the championship one or two rounds before the end of the season.
In Round 20 of the LPBank V-League, CAHN will host Song Lam Nghe An on April 26 at Hang Day Stadium. Facing a favorable opponent, Polking’s side are confident of securing all three points.
Before extending Polking’s contract, CAHN had already secured key players including Van Hau, Dinh Trong, Thanh Long, and foreign striker Alan. The club is also reportedly in talks to renew contracts with several other stars, including goalkeeper Nguyen Filip.
The latest move underscores CAHN’s strategy of maintaining stability while strengthening their squad for sustained success in domestic and regional competitions.
