Mat Bao Corporation has become a Microsoft cloud solution provider tier 1 in Viet Nam following an agreement the two signed on March 23 in HCM City.
Phan Tu Quyen, senior manager at Microsoft’s Strategic Partnership and Enterprise, and Huynh Ngoc Duy, Mat Bao Corporation’s managing director, sign cooperation agreement in HCM City on March 23.
With cloud technology, businesses can digitise huge amounts of data and store them in virtual servers (cloud).
This enables small and medium-sized enterprises, who are not able to afford huge data storage infrastructure, to apply IT systems at a reasonable cost.
Mat Bao will consult and provide typical Microsoft solutions and services like Office 365, Mircrosoft Azure, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Skype for Business, OneDrive, CRM, Exchange Online, Yammer and others.
Most businesses use Microsoft Office, but Office 365 on cloud helps businesses save cost while improving employees’ performance, Huynh Ngoc Duy, Mat Bao Corporation’s managing director, said.
Enterprises using the solution would receive full technical support from the company, saving the cost of hiring IT personnel, he said.
Cloud computing is an inevitable trend but “Changing the perception of enterprises about the role and benefits of cloud computing is a challenge.”
Phan Tu Quyen, senior manager at Microsoft’s Strategic Partnership and Enterprise, said: "Mat Bao is one of the pioneers in providing Internet infrastructure and has developed in tandem with the development of the internet in Viat Nam.
“With such an experienced unit … we believe that Mat Bao will be a promising partner to deploy cloud computing solutions to help improve business operations in Viet Nam." — VNS
