Mr. Do Duc Duy, formerly the Secretary of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee, was unanimously approved by all 426 delegates present.

Born in 1970 in Thai Binh Province, Duy holds a Master's degree in Construction and has had a distinguished career in various leadership roles.

Prior to this appointment, he served as the Deputy Secretary and Chairman of the Yen Bai Provincial People’s Committee and was later promoted to Secretary of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee in September 2020.

Duy’s career began as a lecturer in the Faculty of Construction at Hanoi University of Architecture in 1996. He later transitioned to the Ministry of Construction, where he held several key positions, including Deputy Minister of Construction. His leadership at the provincial level and his expertise in construction and environmental management have positioned him well to lead the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

Nguyen Hai Ninh, the former Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, was also approved unanimously by the National Assembly as the new Minister of Justice, succeeding Le Thanh Long, who has been appointed Deputy Prime Minister.

Ninh, born in 1976 in Hung Yen Province, holds a Ph.D. in Law and a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration. His career includes significant roles in legal and administrative functions within the government.

Before his appointment as Minister of Justice, Ninh served as Deputy Head of the Legal Department at the Central Internal Affairs Commission and held various key positions, including Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee. His most recent role as Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee further solidified his reputation as a skilled leader in legal and governmental affairs.
