The Hanoi Forest Protection Department, in coordination with World Animal Protection, has recently completed a re-micro-chipping of over 200 captive bears on farms in Hanoi.

 Although the controversial tourism development plan for the Son Tra Peninsula in Danang City is still waiting for final approval from the prime minister, a vast area of forest has already been cleared and illegally posted no entry signs are apparent.

 Most people spend an all-nighter or two during their school days, but few people expect to have to pull an all-nighter on behalf of their children’s school carreer. 

 The Central Highlands provinces have halted licensing projects involving the use of natural forests for other land needs, particularly for industrial tree plantations, and those likely to overexploit forest products in converted forest areas.
