From the start of the competition, Kieu Duy emerged as a standout contender, excelling in various segments and gaining enthusiastic support from audiences.
In addition to the highest title, she also received the award for "Miss Mekong Delta."
With her new crown, Kieu Duy will represent Vietnam at Miss International 2025.
The first runner-up title went to Do Thi Phuong Thanh from Thai Binh, while Nguyen Thi Cam Ly from Dak Lak was crowned the second runner-up.
Exceptional performances by the top contestants
In the question-and-answer segment for the top two, contestants were asked: "If you win the highest title, what is the most remarkable thing you would bring to the Miss International 2025 competition?"
Phuong Thanh highlighted Vietnam's tourism, expressing her readiness to share the beauty and unique stories of her hometown, Thai Binh, and beyond, showcasing the country's charm to the world.
Kieu Duy delivered her answer fluently in both English and Vietnamese. She emphasized Vietnam's diverse beauty and the responsibility of young people to address global issues like education and the environment.
"I aim to bring the vibrant image of Vietnam to the world. As a beauty queen, I will inspire the youth to contribute to the betterment of our nation," she stated.
The top three contestants - Kieu Duy, Phuong Thanh, and Cam Ly - were also tasked with answering why they believed they deserved the crown.
Kieu Duy underscored her journey of embodying the values of intelligence, grace, and community contribution, declaring her readiness to represent Vietnam on the international stage.
Phuong Thanh spoke about her commitment to the competition and her determination to channel her intellect for meaningful contributions.
Meanwhile, Cam Ly reflected on the shared values of compassion, virtue, and capability that she and her fellow contestants upheld, emphasizing her desire to make an impact for the community and the nation.
Honoring Vietnam's diverse beauty
The competition also spotlighted 15 finalists who shared personal perspectives on "Vietnam in My Heart," celebrating the country’s culture, history, and aspirations.
One standout answer came from Quan Tran Gia Han of Dong Nai, who described Vietnam as entering a "golden era of progress" and emphasized the importance of talent, intellect, and moral integrity in fostering national growth.
The competition's opening showcased 59 contestants radiating energy and vibrancy during a performance of Ken Ca Chon Canh by singer Hoa Minzy.
