Apple will officially hold its new iPhone launch event at midnight on Sept. 10, Vietnam time.

The products expected to make their debut include the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and a foldable iPhone rumored to be called the Ultra, although Apple has yet to confirm the name.

Last year, when the iPhone 17 series launched, consumers in Vietnam were able for the first time to buy the devices on the same day as their global release, Sept. 19, 2025, rather than waiting another two to four weeks as in previous years.

Notably, Apple had planned that sales rollout and informed retailers well in advance so they could prepare.

This time, however, representatives of domestic smartphone retail chains told VietNamNet that Apple has yet to issue any notification about its upcoming sales plans in Vietnam, with all details still being kept under wraps.

Some retailers predict that Apple’s iPhone sales schedule in Vietnam this year will follow that of the iPhone 17 series, with pre-orders potentially opening on Sept. 12 and devices hitting shelves on Sept. 19. Apple could make an official announcement during its new iPhone launch event tonight and early tomorrow morning.

The main attraction at Apple’s iPhone launch this year is expected to be its first foldable iPhone. According to leaks, the device will feature a book-style folding design, with a 7.8-inch inner display when unfolded and a 5.5-inch outer screen.

The foldable iPhone could be powered by the A20 Pro chip, manufactured using Apple’s first 2nm process, paired with 12GB of RAM.

Its rear camera system is expected to feature two 48-megapixel sensors, comprising a main camera and an ultra-wide camera, with no telephoto lens.

Instead of Face ID, the device is rumored to use Touch ID integrated into its side button. Battery capacity is expected to range from 4,800 to 5,000mAh.

Some leaks also suggest that Apple’s new iPhones will be priced higher than the iPhone 17 series, although no official confirmation has been made.
