As of August 15, the app, officially put into use on June 28, had been installed by more than 130,000 cadres, civil servants, and public employees, along with over 545,000 citizens, said the municipal People’s Committee.
As many as 3,268 opinions and petitions from locals were sent to authorities via iHaNoi, covering app improvement, along with transport, environment, health care, and tourism issues, among others to help with the sustainable development of the city.
The Hanoi People’s Committee Office is coordinating with relevant parties to perfect and add new conveniences to the app such as conducting surveys, collecting voters’ opinions, searching and booking parking lots, searching bus services, and paying electricity bills.
The administration said that the classification and settlement of public opinions have also been handled via iHaNoi, which transfers them to relevant district-level localities on the basis of AI-powered analysis of locations from which opinions are submitted. After that, the chairpersons of the People’s Committees of those localities will assign opinion settlement to corresponding units and communes.
The municipal People’s Committee is set to issue regulations on the management, operation, and use of iHaNoi in the time ahead. It is also demanding related agencies and units to increase interaction with local residents via this app./.VNA
