On January 28, at 29 Hang Bai Exhibition Hall in Hanoi, the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition (under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) inaugurated a photography exhibition titled Celebrating the Party, Welcoming the Spring, which also marks the success of the 14th National Party Congress.

The exhibition features 100 recent works by Vietnamese photographers, vividly portraying the natural beauty, culture, and people of Vietnam. The images highlight traditional festivals, outstanding cultural heritage, and most importantly, a vision of a transforming and advancing Vietnam under the leadership of the Party.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Standing Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Lam Thi Phuong Thanh, emphasized that through heartfelt dedication to their homeland, photographers have managed to capture key moments and milestones in the country’s development.

Major national events - such as the 50th anniversary of reunification, the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), and the recent 14th Party Congress - are presented through emotionally resonant frames, leaving a strong impression on viewers.

According to Deputy Minister Thanh, the year 2025 marked significant achievements in culture, sports, and tourism. Numerous large-scale events took place, several Vietnamese heritage sites were recognized by UNESCO, and both sports and tourism saw remarkable results.

These milestones are reflected in the photographs on display, underscoring the role of culture in fostering sustainable national development.

The exhibition is open to the public until February 26, welcoming residents and visitors alike to celebrate Tet through the lens of photography.
