Vietnam’s Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and President of Myanmar Htin Kyaw agreed to establish the bilateral comprehensive cooperative partnership during their talks in Naypyidaw on August 24.

Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong arrived in Nay Pyi Taw International Airport on August 24, starting his three-day State visit to Myanmar at the invitation of President Htin Kyaw.

 Vietnam - Indonesia strategic partnership

 Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on August 23 attended a banquet hosted by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), during which he called on Indonesian enterprises to invest more to Vietnam.

General Secretary of the Vietnam National Assembly Nguyen Hanh Phuc yesterday held talks with General Secretary of the Office of the Mongolian Parliament Tsend Tsolmon who is on a working visit to Vietnam from August 14-18. 

 The official visit to Thailand by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc from August 17-19 is expected to deepen the two countries’ relations in various fields such as politics, security, defence, economics and trade.

Vietnam always works closely with Timor Leste to foster bilateral ties for the sake of peace, stability and prosperity in Southeast Asia, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh assured Timor Leste Ambassador to VN. 

 Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc stated that cooperation with Tokyo Gas Co Ltd is very important as oil and gas cooperation is one of the top priorities in Vietnam-Japan economic ties.
