This figure was recently shared by the Department of Press under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. The massive number of videos and views reflects a strong public response to patriotic themes, as part of the campaign “I Love My Homeland - 80 Years of a Radiant Vietnam,” jointly launched by the Department and TikTok to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam's National Day (September 2).

The campaign encouraged the community to create positive, inspiring content about Vietnamese history, culture, and people using hashtags such as #ProudVietnam, #RangRoVietNam, and #TetDocLap.

According to the latest data as of September 4, the hashtag #RangRoVietNam had attracted more than 602,000 videos with over 1 billion views, 28 million likes, and 1.5 million shares to other platforms.

This overwhelming engagement highlights the online community’s embrace of patriotism, including heartfelt stories shared by national broadcasters like VTV and various news outlets, evoking pride and emotion.

Among the standout stories is that of a man who rode his bicycle from Nghe An to Hanoi, carrying his late veteran father's medals in hopes of having him “witness” the A80 anniversary celebration in the capital. Another features a war veteran from Quang Ngai who traveled to Hanoi to watch the A80 military parade and was offered free lodging by young people. There were also tales of citizens preparing water and meals for others, and a young couple carefully ironing the national flag before proudly hanging it on their apartment balcony.

One of the most emotional moments involved tens of thousands of young people attending the rainy-night concert “Vietnam in My Heart,” raising over 4.2 billion VND (about 175,000 USD) for Central Vietnam communities affected by Storm No. 5.

Young people across the country expressed their patriotism in unique ways, each moved by a genuine love for their homeland and pride in being Vietnamese.

Every shared video and image served not only as an expression of national pride but also as proof of the unity and deep patriotic spirit present in today's youth. While connected by digital platforms, their sincerity struck a deep emotional chord.
