Two internationally acclaimed music producers with credits on Grammy-winning works are set to perform alongside Vietnamese stars Soobin and Binz in Hanoi, bringing global and local talent together for the launch of a new performance space.

The announcement was made at a press event on August 19 at Ho Guom Opera House, where AY-VY Hanoi, located on the sixth floor of the venue, was officially introduced.

Organizers have revealed few details about the opening show, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the performances by DannyBoyStyles, Scott Storch, Soobin and Binz at the new venue.

The event also included the signing of a cooperation agreement between AY-VY and SpaceSpeakers, marking a new collaboration between a cultural and culinary space and Vietnam’s music industry.

Organizers said DannyBoyStyles, who contributed to three Grammy-winning works, and Scott Storch, credited on eight Grammy-winning works, will perform with Soobin and Binz at the venue’s opening show on the evening of August 20.

Details of the repertoire have been kept largely under wraps, adding anticipation over what the four artists will bring to the new stage.

According to a representative of Ho Guom Opera House, the theater has pursued a broader vision since its early years of operation: building a cultural ecosystem with performing arts at its heart, supported by arts education, exchange, audience experiences and community engagement.

The aim is to make the arts more accessible while enriching the experience of audiences. The opening of the new sixth-floor space is intended as the next step in developing that cultural ecosystem.

SpaceSpeakers artists attend the press event introducing the new venue at Ho Guom Opera House.

With a capacity of 420 seats, the venue is designed to accommodate a variety of performance formats for different audiences, including chamber ensembles, piano, violin, cello and jazz.

It will also provide a platform for Vietnamese music, introducing audiences to folk melodies and traditional musical instruments while offering a broader range of cultural experiences.

Beyond performances, the space is expected to gradually develop into a venue where audiences can discover musical works, instruments, artists and the stories behind the stage.

Through talks, performances and hands-on experiences, visitors will have opportunities to learn more about the history, construction, sound and cultural value of individual instruments, as well as classic musical works.
