Implementing the minutes signed between the authorities of Ha Quang district of Cao Bang province and Na Po district, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region (China), the two sides welcomed the first citizens who perform entry/exit procedures at the Soc Giang border gate (Vietnam) - Pingmeng (China) on November 28.

The time to carry out procedures at the border gate will be from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. On the first day, there were 45 citizens of the two countries completing border crossing procedures. The two local governments have arranged forces, vehicles, and technical equipment to support people to quickly complete immigration procedures.

Soc Giang is the second border gate in Cao Bang province to resume immigration procedures. Previously, from June 25, 2023, the Ta Lung International Border Gate in Quang Hoa district also resumed immigration activities for citizens of the two countries after a long suspension due to the Covid-19 epidemic.
