Update news storm
At 7pm last night, June 23, the second storm in the East Sea made landfall in the northern port city of Hai Phong and Thai Binh province, nine hours earlier than previously forecast.
VietNamNet Bridge - This morning (21/6), a tropical depression was strengthened into a typhoon. This is the 2nd storm in the East Sea and is internationally known as Bebinca.
At least 37 people were killed and many others were wounded when a storm with a massive tornado struck an area outside the U.S. city of Oklahoma on Monday afternoon, officials said.
In the past five years, there were 1,868 people dead and missing in natural disasters in Vietnam. Meanwhile, the management of boats and fishermen at sea is limited, said Nguyen Xuan Dieu - Deputy Chief of the General Department of Irrigation.

VietNamNet Bridge - With winds of 62-74 km/h, typhoon Wukong is entering the Eat Sea, at a speed of 20-25 km/h. The storm is likely to affect the Truong Sa Archipelago (Spratly Islands) and the provinces from Ca Mau to Khanh Hoa.
VietNamNet Bridge - With strong winds up to 118-133 km/h, super typhoon Bopha will potentially affect the waters from Da Nang to Ba Ria-Vung Tau in the next 24 hours.
VietNamNet Bridge – At noon on December 3, storm Bopha with the wind speed of 180-200 km per hour, formed off the coast in the Pacific, was approaching the Philippines. In the next two days, the storm will enter the East Sea.
