Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City has been bustling in recent days as people await the return of their overseas Vietnamese relatives for the upcoming Lunar New Year, known locally as Tet.
Many flights from Japan, Dubai, the Netherlands, and several Southeast Asian countries have landed at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in recent days, carrying plenty of passengers who are Vietnamese nationals living abroad.

At the peak time from January 26 to February 24, the airport is estimated to welcome 860 to 900 flights carrying around 135,000 to 140,000 passengers each day.
