Since its inception, the Saigon Hi-Tech Park has become an incubator for innovation and a centre for technology transfer in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern region.

This is a flood warning device which collects data from a pressure sensor chip. Based on the level of flooding around the city, the device will send a warning message to users via mobile apps.

The device, produced by the Saigon Hi-Tech Park, has been installed in 15 flooding “hot spots” in the city.

 Apart from attracting investment in hi-tech production, the park also acts as an incubator supporting startups and conducting technology transfer.

According to experts, an “incubator” is a new concept in Vietnam. The one in the park is among the first of its kind in the country.
