From early morning, crowds lined the streets around Ba Dinh Square to witness the rehearsal for the military parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.

At 8:00 p.m. tonight, the first full-scale rehearsal for the parade and march will take place at Ba Dinh Square. In the days leading up to the event, large numbers of citizens from across the country, along with international visitors, have been arriving in Hanoi to share in the celebratory spirit of the occasion.

From 11:00 a.m., thousands of people flocked to major streets surrounding Ba Dinh Square, including Hung Vuong, Tran Phu, Dien Bien Phu, Nguyen Thai Hoc, and Phan Dinh Phung, to secure the best viewing spots along the sidewalks lining the parade route.

Anticipating the high turnout, many arrived early, prepared with raincoats, plastic sheets, food, and drinks to sustain themselves while waiting.

The rehearsal involves tens of thousands of officers, soldiers, and civilian participants. All parade units, both on foot and in vehicles, are being deployed with coordinated precision and grandeur, ensuring the solemnity and spirit of the national celebration.
