According to CNN Travel, the French may have introduced baguette to Vietnam but Vietnam’s famous banh mi is a unique creation. The ingredients that make up the Vietnamese banh mi vary greatly by region. However, the main ingredients usually include pork, coriander, chili, pate and pickles, stuffed inside a crispy, spongy bread.
Iced coffee sold on trolleys or in cafes in Vietnam is also on the list of Asia's most popular street food. According to details given by CNN Travel, visitors can drink it black, with condensed milk, a touch of sugar, or mixed with coconut milk.
Vietnamese pho is rated as excellent by CNN. There are few street foods that can compete with it, CNN noted. Pho, whether sold at roadside eateries or served in restaurants and cafes, has an aromatic, nuanced broth, springy rice noodles, and chicken or beef. The food is typically served with herbs, bean sprouts, lime, chili sauce, and chili slices.
