A cloud resembling a carp appeared in Thai Binh on the morning of August 4th, causing a stir online.

With the light effects of sunrise, the cloud stood out against the sky, bathed in vibrant hues of yellow and orange. This led many visitors to draw vivid comparisons, describing the scene as reminiscent of a "carp transforming into a dragon."

Nguyen Hoang Long from Hanoi shared with VietNamNet that the carp-shaped cloud appeared around 5 a.m. on August 4.

He and other tourists were at the "Infinity Beach" in Quang Lang (Thuy Hai commune, Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh province) during sunrise and were fortunate to witness this fascinating natural occurrence.

"At first, it was just a regular cloud, but after a few minutes, a smaller cloud separated and gradually moved further away, taking on a red-orange color and a shape resembling a carp," Long explained.

The young man was thrilled to witness such an impressive moment on his first visit to Thai Binh and was eager to capture it with his camera.

The carp-shaped cloud appeared for about 15 minutes during sunrise before dissipating.

Similarly, Minh Hop from Dong My commune, Thai Binh city, expressed excitement at witnessing the full moment of the carp-shaped cloud early in the morning.

"Yesterday, I was at home, and after waking up early, I decided to record a time-lapse video of the morning scene. By chance, I captured the cloud and was able to fully enjoy this rare natural moment in the sky," Hop recounted.

After the images of the unusually shaped cloud in Thai Binh were shared widely on social media, some residents from nearby areas like Nam Dinh and Thanh Hoa also confirmed witnessing this intriguing phenomenon at the same time.

Many netizens affirmed that the cloud image was captured authentically, not a product of Photoshop, and most expressed delight at nature's wonder.

Thai Binh is located about 120km from Hanoi's center. In recent years, it has attracted many visitors thanks to the appearance of the stunning "Infinity Beach" in Thuy Hai commune, which looks like a giant mirror reflecting the sky and surroundings.

To capture impressive photos at "Infinity Beach," visitors must arrive early in the morning to catch the sunrise and the moment the sun begins to rise.

"Infinity Beach" in Quang Lang draws many early-morning visitors, coinciding with locals heading out to gather clams or razor clams.

Locals note that "Infinity Beach" is most beautiful on clear, calm days. Late summer and early fall (from July to October) is the ideal time to visit, with gentle winds and beautiful sunrises.

Visitors are advised to go in the early morning, as the tide rises in the afternoon, and it's not recommended to visit. It's essential to check the weather forecast, tide schedule, and consult locals for updates before visiting.

If you have the opportunity to visit Thai Binh, besides "Infinity Beach" in Quang Lang, you can explore other attractions like Con Vanh Beach, Dong Chau Beach, the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Keo Pagoda, and enjoy local delicacies such as banh cay, bun bung, Quynh Coi fish soup, Dai Dong gai cake, and Vi Thuy fermented pork rolls.
