Under the impact of the pandemic and technology advancement, the labor market has seen the strong development of new occupations, which have quickly become "fashionable", and particularly attractive to youth.

Among the new professions are those with high flexibility such as a streamer (playing games, tasting food, singing, giving consultations…), wedding planner, Tiktoker, KOL affiliate and others.

Experts say the young generation today believes that a lot of knowledge can be found online, so they often don't have solid expertise. Instead, they focus on skills that match their interests, leading to jobs that are freelance in nature.

However, they have advised young people to still cultivate knowledge and skills in a serious and intensive way, instead of just focusing on skills that match their interests so that they can pursue their career goals with certainty.

Today's world of work is constantly changing. The change will be faster after the pandemic and some skills will become obsolete and be replaced by new skills.

Therefore, young people need to always keep a sense of "lifelong learning", learning from friends, colleagues, company-provided courses and even self-study throughout their career journey, experts said.
