The Ministry of Science and Technology has officially launched the ASEAN Digital Awards 2026 (ADA), inviting Vietnamese enterprises, organizations, and agencies to submit entries. The awards offer a valuable opportunity to showcase “Make in Vietnam” digital products and expand their regional reach.

ADA is a prestigious regional award held annually under the patronage of the ASEAN Digital Ministers' Meeting. It honors outstanding initiatives and digital technology solutions with real-world applications, encouraging innovation, forecasting trends, and recognizing the vital role of digital tech in economic growth and quality of life in ASEAN nations.

Building on previous success, ASEAN countries have agreed to continue the awards program this year. The final round and awards gala will be held in person in Vietnam in January 2026.

ADA 2026 will feature six categories: Public Sector, Private Sector, Digital Inclusivity, Digital Content, Digital Start-up, and Digital Innovation.

The competition includes three stages: national selection, regional preliminary (held online), and the final round (held in person). Applicants must submit their entries by September 15, including a product description form and a video (maximum 3 minutes, in English, MP4 format), to the Vietnam Secretariat of the ASEAN Digital Awards at the Ministry of Science and Technology headquarters.

A maximum of three products per category will be shortlisted for the regional preliminary round, which takes place online from October 10 to 31. Finalists will be announced on November 15.

The final judging and awards ceremony will take place during the 6th ASEAN Digital Ministers’ Meeting (ADGMIN), hosted by Vietnam in January 2026. Judges from all ten ASEAN countries will score and honor winners with gold, silver, and bronze rankings.

Vietnam has consistently achieved top results at ADA, boosting its reputation in the regional ICT sector and elevating the global profile of Vietnamese digital products and services.
